Any conflict inevitably ends in an agreement, and one of the options for such an agreement is surrender. Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, said this at a meeting with military personnel at the Central House of the Russian Army on March 23.

"You know, any conflict ends with an agreement. Internationally documented when it comes to an international conflict. Surrender, for example, what is it? This is, of course, an agreement signed, formalized, certified, an agreement between the parties to end the conflict," Zakharova said, answering a question about the exhaustion of the negotiating potential in the conflict with Ukraine.

She added that people who are familiar with this conflict firsthand "get a chill down their spine" when they hear about the diplomatic potential of a settlement. According to her, Russia has too often been betrayed by those it trusted.

Maria Zakharova said on March 7 that Kiev is not ready to compromise, but only knows how to blackmail. The diplomat added that in the confrontation between Hungary and Ukraine over Russian oil supplies, the Kiev regime is not ready to compromise, as it is only an instrument of the West.

On March 20, the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that Ukraine plays an extremely destructive role in international politics, turning into a factor undermining regional and global security and stability.
