The yellow weather hazard level due to icy conditions will remain in effect in Moscow until Saturday morning, March 14. The Hydrometeorological Center of the Russian Federation announced this on Tuesday, March 10.

"Other dangers. The warning period is until 9:00 a.m. on March 14. Ice is expected in some places on the roads at night and in the morning," the Moscow City News agency quotes the message.

A similar warning will be in effect in the Moscow region.

This week, from March 9th to 15th, warm and sunny weather is expected in the capital. However, in the afternoon the wind may increase to 7-12 m/s, writes "Moscow 24".

According to the Hydrometeorological Center, the thermometer in Moscow this week will rise above normal by six degrees or more, according to 360.ru .

Earlier in the day, meteorologist Evgeny Tishkovets, a leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, said that the air temperature in Moscow rose to +5.5 degrees on Tuesday morning, writes RIAMO.
