The Israel Defense Forces has launched a new wave of strikes on the territory of Tehran and Isfahan in the Islamic Republic of Iran. This was announced on the morning of March 7 in the press service of the department.

"The Israel Defense Forces has launched a broad wave of attacks on the infrastructure of the Iranian terrorist regime in Tehran and Isfahan," the statement said, which was posted on the Telegram channel.

Details about this operation, as well as about possible damage and deaths as a result, are currently not provided.

On the morning of the same day, Israel, acting as part of the military operation Lion's Roar launched by it on February 28 in conjunction with the American country, attacked the main military university of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) named after Imam Hossein. The building where the officers were trained was located in Tehran. According to the IDF, it could be used as an emergency resource and an assembly complex. The previous wave of strikes on Tehran and Isfahan was announced the day before, on the day when the Israeli side also attacked the infrastructure allegedly belonging to the Hezbollah movement in Beirut.
