Katz named Iran's next leader as a clear target for elimination
Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz called Iran's next supreme leader "an unequivocal target for elimination." He wrote about this on March 4 on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
"It doesn't matter what his name is or where he will hide," he stressed in the publication.
Katz added that he had instructed the Israeli Army (IDF) to prepare for the elimination of Ali Khamenei's successor.

On March 1, Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed condolences to his Iranian counterpart Masoud Peseshkian in connection with the murder of Khamenei.
