Katz named Iran's next leader as a clear target for elimination

Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz called Iran's next supreme leader "an unequivocal target for elimination." He wrote about this on March 4 on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

"It doesn't matter what his name is or where he will hide," he stressed in the publication.

Katz added that he had instructed the Israeli Army (IDF) to prepare for the elimination of Ali Khamenei's successor.

Among the possible candidates for the post is the son of a former riding leader and a descendant of the deposed shah.

On March 1, Iran's State Television (IRIB) confirmed Khamenei's death at the age of 86.
