The United States and Israel will not be able to win the conflict with Iran, as Tehran was preparing for the outbreak of hostilities. This was announced on March 1 by former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) officer and intelligence analyst Larry Johnson.

"The United States and Israel have started a conflict that they cannot win, that they will lose. They have no other choice. They convinced themselves that all they had to do was launch this massive strike. <...> The Iranians were preparing for it (attacks on Iran. — Ed.) will happen," he said in an interview with journalist Andrew Napolitano, posted on his YouTube channel.

In addition, Johnson added that Iran's de facto closure of the Strait of Hormuz has blocked several American ships. According to the analyst, Tehran is armed with missiles capable of destroying these vessels.

He clarified that when the United States begins to actively use the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln and it runs out of fuel, it will have to refuel to the port of Diego Garcia, located more than three days away. As the expert noted, this will create a situation in which the United States will not be able to support an attack from the south.

In addition, Johnson pointed out Israel's vulnerability, as it may run out of missiles. Iran, according to the analyst, can produce ammunition underground, which is its advantage.
