Entrepreneurs are offering Russians stuck in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) a paid trip to Russia for $37 thousand. Izvestia found out about this on March 2 by contacting the organizers of the transfer.

According to one of the businessmen, it is preferable to make payments in cryptocurrency. He clarified that the prepayment is $25,000, and upon arrival in Moscow, it is necessary to pay another $14,000, which in total exceeds the initially stated cost by $2,000.

"$25,000 is an advance payment, $14,000 is based on how you arrive in Moscow," he said.

The interlocutor also stated that he organizes flights on a private jet. The cost of such a flight, according to him, is $ 120 thousand. At the same time, the entrepreneur warned about possible fraudsters. He noted that some people require an advance payment in the amount of $ 5,000 to $ 15,000, after which they do not fulfill the promises of transportation.

The businessman claims that a group of passengers has already been formed for the flight via Istanbul, whose departure is allegedly scheduled for the near future.

In response, Iran launched Operation True Promise 4 and attacked American military bases in the Middle East, as well as Israeli cities. The UAE, Bahrain, Iraq, Oman and other Persian Gulf countries were affected by the Iranian attacks.

Later, on March 1, it became known that the supreme leader of the Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was killed in Israeli attacks, national mourning was declared in the country and an interim governing council was established.

Bahrain, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) closed their airspace on February 28. Later, the Kuwait Civil Aviation Authority announced the temporary closure of the airspace. In addition, flights were banned over Syria.

Airports in Dubai, the largest city in the United Arab Emirates, suspended operations indefinitely later that day due to the escalation of the conflict between Israel, the United States and Iran. Aeroflot cancelled all its flights to Dubai and Abu Dhabi at that time. This measure was extended until March 3.

Russian tourists were unable to return to Moscow from Doha, the capital of Qatar. They noted that at night there were signs of anti-aircraft defense (air defense) work in the sky, but during the day the situation became calm and people walked along the street, and shops continued to work.

The families of Russians who cannot fly out of the UAE due to the escalation in the Middle East have been waiting for the return of their loved ones for the second day. The family of one of the tourists named Victoria, who was stuck in Dubai, spoke about the situation at home on March 2.
