What is known about the suspect
On February 26, investigators from the regional directorate of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia, together with the operational staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, detained the suspect in the abduction. He turned out to be 43-year-old Sergey G., who had previously been convicted of drug possession.
A video posted on the Telegram channel of the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Irina Volk on February 27 shows how the found girl is being taken out of the entrance of an apartment building. During the interrogation, the man confessed that he had kept the child in his roommate's apartment.
