"Queens of Variations" is a new ballet by Maxim Sevagin. The action centers on four ballerinas from different periods in the history of dance: romanticism, classical ballet of the Petipa era, the time of Balanchine and his aesthetics of plotless neoclassicism and modern ballet of the 21st century.

A new exhibition at the Museum of Modern History of Russia is timed to coincide with the 70th anniversary of Sovremennik. She explores the phenomenon of the creation and development of the legendary Moscow theater, founded by graduates of the Moscow Art Theater School, when the Studio of Young Actors presented the first production of Viktor Rozov's play "Forever Alive." Based on it, Mikhail Kalatozov's film "The Cranes are Flying" was later shot.
