Traffic on the square near the Savyolovsky railway station, where a traffic police car exploded earlier, has been restored. This was announced on February 24 by Izvestia correspondent Linar Ginatullin.

It is specified that the territory of the incident continues to be under the control of police officers. The patrol car damaged as a result of the explosion has been sent for examination.

The press service of the Russian Interior Ministry reported that an explosion occurred in a traffic police car in the northeast of Moscow on February 24, according to preliminary information, one person was killed and another injured.

The ministry clarified that the car that blew up the traffic police in Moscow had previously died at the scene. It was reported that the investigative task force is conducting an inspection of the scene and analyzing video materials.

Later, Izvestia correspondent Elena Khmura said that a sapper robot was checking a traffic police official car parked next to the car damaged in the explosion. It was clarified that the windows in the vehicle were broken, the roof was deformed, and the airbags were activated.

The official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Irina Volk, said that the families of the senior inspector of the separate battalion of the traffic police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the North-Eastern Administrative District of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Moscow, senior police Lieutenant Denis Bratushchenko, who died in a car explosion in the capital, as well as the victims, will receive the necessary assistance.
