The Chinese Foreign Ministry announced its intention to combat the CIA's subversive work against the country.

China intends to take all necessary measures to resolutely fight against foreign anti-Chinese forces that are conducting subversive work inside the state, trying to penetrate the country. This was stated at a briefing on February 13 by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China (PRC) Lin Jian.

The diplomat was asked to comment on a Chinese-language video by the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) addressed to Chinese army officers who were "disappointed in their leaders."
