A case has been opened in the Moscow region on the murder of a woman and an attempt on another one.

A man killed a roommate with a knife and wounded a neighbor with it, after which he fell out of a window in Sergiev Posad. A criminal case has been opened against him. This was reported on January 27 in the main Investigative Department (GSU) of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation for the Moscow region.

"A man <...> stabbed his roommate during the conflict. The injured woman ran to the neighbors for help. After catching up with her, the man inflicted several more wounds on her, as well as on a neighbor who opened the door," the department's Telegram channel says.

It is noted that the roommate died of her injuries at the scene. The injured neighbor was taken to the hospital.

A criminal case was opened against the attacker under Part 3 of Article 30, paragraph "a" of Part 2 of Article 105, paragraph "d" of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Attempted murder", "Murder").

On January 19, the press service of the GSU of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Moscow region reported the arrest of a suspect in the murder of an 18-year-old local resident. According to the Izvestia source, the detainee stood up for the girls on the bus, after which all the conflicting parties got out at the bus stop and started fighting. At some point, the young man took out a knife and stabbed one of the offenders with it several times.
