The continuation of negotiations between Ukraine, Russia and the United States in Abu Dhabi is scheduled for next week. This was announced on January 26 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"They (are negotiating. They are scheduled for next week," he said, answering a question about the continuation of negotiations in the UAE.

However, Peskov added that the exact date of the new trilateral meeting could not yet be named.

The day before, Peskov said that the path to resolving the conflict in Ukraine is "not a fast road," as the Russian side has repeatedly stated. According to him, during the meeting between the Russian Federation and the United States in Anchorage, a certain formula for resolving the territorial issue was worked out, so now it needs to be implemented.

Prior to that, on January 23, the White House reported that the first day of negotiations in Abu Dhabi turned out to be the most difficult due to the discussion of territorial disputes and potential security guarantees for both sides.

Special Envoy of the American leader Steve Witkoff, in turn, said that representatives of the Russian Federation, the United States and Ukraine agreed to continue negotiations on resolving the crisis this week in Abu Dhabi.
