The best-selling cars of 2025 in Russia are named
The Lada Granta family has become the leader of the Russian automotive market for the fourth time in a row by the end of the year. In 2025, almost 147 thousand copies of Granta and cars produced on its basis were sold in the country, according to a report by the analytical agency Autostat, which was received by Izvestia on January 13.
The second place in the list of bestsellers of last year is occupied by Lada Vesta (79.8 thousand units), and the Haval Jolion crossover remained the best-selling foreign car in Russia with a score of 65.8 thousand units. The fourth place in the overall rating was taken by the crossover of the Belarusian brand Belgee — the X50 model sold 38.3 thousand copies. The fifth was Geely Monjaro (37.7 thousand units).
The top ten best-selling cars in Russia were rounded out by the Haval M6 crossover (36.1 thousand units), Lada Niva Legend SUVs (34.3 thousand units) and Niva Travel (34.1 thousand units), as well as Changan Uni-S/CS55 Plus (30.6 thousand units) and Lada Largus (27.7 thousand units).
Compared to 2024, of these ten, sales increased only for the Belgee X50 crossover (+25%) and the Lada Largus station wagon (+96.6%). The remaining eight models show a decrease, with the Lada Vesta showing the strongest decline (-35.2%).
As for the sales results in December, they marked Lada Iskra's first entry into the top 10 bestsellers.
As previously reported on this day, by the end of 2025, almost 1.33 million new passenger cars were sold in Russia, which is 15.6% less than in 2024.
