Supervisory support for the implementation of social programs made it possible in 2025 to restore the rights of more than 1 million citizens to receive state-guaranteed assistance. This was announced on January 12 by Prosecutor General Alexander Gutsan at a solemn event dedicated to the 304th anniversary of the Prosecutor's Office in Russia.

"The participants of the special military operation and their family members occupy a special place among them. A personal approach to resolving all their appeals made it possible to promptly eliminate deficiencies in the provision of payments and support measures, and to establish comprehensive assistance in the exercise of their rights with the involvement of other departments," he said.

In particular, the prosecutors also helped to eliminate failures in the health care and drug supply systems, social protection for pensioners, disabled people, families with children and citizens in difficult situations.

"As a matter of principle, we were committed to upholding the interests of the younger generation, primarily while maintaining security and getting an education. As before, prosecutors were required to pay strict attention to issues of respect for citizens' labor rights, pricing of vital goods, and the quality and cost of housing and communal services," Gutan said.

In addition, the Prosecutor General drew attention to the claims of prosecutors satisfied by the courts for the return to the state of assets "particularly significant for the stability of the national economy."
