A criminal case has been opened after the death of a patient from a cosmetic procedure in one of the private clinics in Moscow. This was reported on January 4 in the press service of the main Metropolitan Investigative Department (GSU) of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
"The investigative department for the Basmanny district of the Investigative Department for the Central Administrative District of the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the city of Moscow has opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 2 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing death by negligence due to improper performance by a person of his professional duties")," the report says.
The deceased patient of the elite Moscow clinic Elmas, according to the Telegram channel 112, turned out to be 38-year-old blogger Yulia Burtseva. The girl, who lived permanently with her family in Italy and recently arrived in Moscow, died after a buttock augmentation procedure. The owner of the clinic is Govher Abdillayeva.
Earlier it was reported that a 30-year-old patient developed anaphylactic shock during a cosmetic procedure in Moscow, which led to clinical death. The victim was urgently taken to the hospital in critical condition, where doctors fought for her life, but they could not save the patient.
