- The forward of Metallurg sued his ex-wife for 120 thousand rubles for half a bag of Chanel
Daniil Vovchenko, a forward of Magnitogorsk Metallurg hockey club, won a property division trial, receiving 120 thousand rubles from his ex—wife Yana Vovchenko, half the cost of a Chanel branded handbag. This was announced on December 18 by Yana Vovchenko herself.
"Vovcha (Vovchenko — Ed.) was awarded half a purse, as he wanted. 120 thousand rubles. None of the eight applications helped, five to the prosecutor's office, three to city departments. No lawyer, <...> no testimony, <...> no 150 sheets describing what a bad wife I am and how bad it is to live with me," the girl wrote on Instagram (owned by Meta, a company whose activities are recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).
She explained that the disputed accessory was purchased in marriage, and the payment was divided equally. At the same time, Yana Vovchenko sued the athlete for 10 million rubles for other items of the division of jointly acquired property, which is estimated at tens of millions, and intends to seek a review of the decision on the bag in order to recover its full value.
The day before, the Presnensky district court of Moscow denied showman and TV presenter Timur Rodriguez a lawsuit against his ex-wife Anna Devochkina, in which he demanded to reduce the amount of alimony. Before the official divorce, the couple entered into an alimony agreement. In it, Rodriguez pledged to transfer 1.5 million rubles a month for the maintenance of their common minor sons, as well as pay about 500 thousand rubles a month for the maintenance of his ex-wife.
