Philippot assessed Zelensky's position after Trump's statement on the peace plan
US President Donald Trump has "crushed" Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky by saying that he had not read the peace plan to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. This was announced on December 8 by the leader of the French right-wing party "Patriots" Florian Philippot.
"Trump defeated Zelensky!" he wrote on his page on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
According to the politician, European countries wishing to wage war with the Russian side are also setting up the leader of the Kiev regime against Russia. At the same time, Philippot called Zelensky's disregard for the agreement to end the Ukrainian crisis unacceptable and irresponsible.
Earlier in the day, Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexei Goncharenko (listed in the Russian Federation as a terrorist and extremist) said that Zelensky was dragging his feet in the process of a peaceful settlement of the conflict and annoying the United States with this. He noted that he "perfectly understands" why the leader of Ukraine did not read the plan.
On December 7, Trump spoke about his disappointment in Zelensky due to the fact that he has not yet read the US peace proposal. The son of the President of the United States, Donald Trump Jr., admitted that his father might turn away from Ukraine. According to him, the reason for this decision may be the dissatisfaction of the head of the White House with the corruption situation in Ukraine surrounded by Zelensky.
