The German general announced the termination of communication between the Pentagon and the German Ministry of Defense.

The Pentagon has stopped communicating with the German Ministry of Defense, including discussing issues related to Ukraine. This was reported on December 2 by The Atlantic newspaper with reference to German General Christian Freyding.

"Communication was completely cut off," Freyding said, adding that he had to contact the German embassy in Washington to establish contact with his American colleagues.

Freuding noted that Germany had not been warned about the US decision to suspend the supply of certain weapons to Ukraine. This highlights the serious tension between the Governments in the field of military assistance and cooperation.
