The most popular used cars in Russia are named

The Lada 2107 sedan remains the most popular model among used passenger cars in Russia. In October, Russians purchased 13.9 thousand Vaz sevens, according to a report by the analytical agency Autostat, which was received by Izvestia on November 18.

Kia Rio (13.1 thousand units) and Hyundai Solaris (12.5 thousand units) are next in the ranking of the bestsellers of the secondary market of the Russian Federation. The fourth place was taken by the Ford Focus (10.6 thousand units), this time the top five was completed by the Lada 4x4 SUV (Niva), the October result of which was 10.5 thousand units.

The top ten was completed by Toyota Corolla, Lada 2114 (Samara-2), Toyota Camry and two more Lada 2170 (Priora) and 2190 (Granta).

Compared to September, all the presented models showed positive dynamics, and the situation is best for the Toyota Camry (+22.1%). The market volumes of the Lada Samara-2 hatchback and Lada Priora sedan increased by less than 10%. Compared to October 2024, growth was recorded for five models, with the Toyota Camry again having the largest growth (+13.2%). The other five models are "in the red", and the fourteenth lost the most (-11.3%), experts noted.

Temporary balance: the used car market has stabilized

Since the beginning of the year, more than 4.4 million used cars have been sold in Russia.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that in October 2025, Russians bought 653,000 used passenger cars. This is 18% more than a month earlier, and 7.9% higher than the result of October last year.
