A solemn ceremony was held in Moscow to announce the winners of the award "For Fidelity to Science", which is awarded to the best popularizers of scientific knowledge. Among the winners are the organizers of Total Dictation, academic scientists and experts in the field of artificial intelligence. On October 24, a solemn ceremony of awarding the XI All-Russian Prize "For Fidelity to Science" took place at the Moscow Theater on Malaya Bronnaya. It is awarded for the popularization of scientific knowledge. The evening opened with a performance by the band Therr Maitz, after which the winners were announced.

"Of course, this award is one of the gems of the Decade of Science and Technology. It is encouraging that this activity is yielding results. We see that, according to VTsIOM polls, 64% of parents want their children to connect their future with science, education, and technology. Vladislav Vulfovich and his show "Science for All" were recognized as the best on the Network. "If at least one child, after watching our show, wants to become a scientist, our mission is accomplished," Vladislav Vulfovich said.

Natalia Vedeneeva from the newspaper Moskovsky Komsomolets was named Scientific Journalist of the Year. She specializes in research topics, talks about the most exciting events in the field of science and technology, and also runs the author's Telegram channel "Front of Russian Science".

The award in the nomination "Russian Science to the World", which celebrates international projects aimed at popularizing Russian scientific achievements, was received by the organizers of Total Dictation. This is an annual voluntary Russian language test created specifically for the campaign by a famous writer. In 2025, more than 1 million people from 112 countries took part in it.

The prize "Scientific Press Service of the Year" was awarded to employees of Sechenov University for the project "For the first time in Russia and in the world. The best medical practices". It is aimed at promoting the university in the media environment as a leader in the field of biomedical research. To do this, the team has created a wide variety of content on various platforms: texts, videos, live broadcasts.

Irina Beletskaya, a chemist, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and a processor at the Faculty of Chemistry of Moscow State University, was awarded the honorary "Recognition" nomination, which is awarded to scientists who have achieved outstanding success in their field.

"Chemistry is a collective science, and therefore hundreds of my students who work in various countries of the world should also be on the stage," she said.

For artificial intelligence

A separate award in the nomination "On the use of artificial intelligence technology in scientific research" was awarded to scientists who have best applied AI methods in their work. This year, ITMO University specialists received the prize for creating an "Open Source Ecosystem for Artificial Intelligence in Science" and an associated community that brought together laboratories, developers, and enthusiasts in this field.

The exhibition "Academic Science during the Great Patriotic War" of the Russian Academy of Sciences was awarded in the nomination "Work with experience: contribution of scientists to Victory". This is a website that contains materials about the war: interviews with scientists and historians, videos, photos, including materials about academy staff who contributed to the fight against the enemy.

The team of the Tavrida art cluster received the "Special prize for the 80th anniversary of the nuclear industry", which is being celebrated this year. They organized a summer school in Crimea dedicated to Igor Kurchatov, the father of Soviet nuclear energy.

The special prize named after Christopher Ledentsov, which celebrates the best projects combining science and business, was awarded to the educational and educational project "House of Polymers" by Sibur.

The award in the "Science for Children" nomination was awarded to the scientific and educational center "Zapovednoe Embassy", which operates in the Zaryadye Park in the capital and implements programs to popularize natural sciences among the youngest audience.

The XI All-Russian Award "For Fidelity to Science" received more than 2,000 applications from 81 regions of Russia. In total, the leaders in 11 nominations were identified during the ceremony. The winners received a symbolic statuette in the form of a five-pointed golden star with a crystalline atomic lattice inscribed in it.

The award is organized by the Ministry of Education and Science with the support of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Kurchatov Institute National Research Center and Lomonosov Moscow State University.
