Actor Mikhail Maklakov, known for his role as Ensign Shmatko in the TV series Soldiers, denied reports of health problems on October 14 and said he was heading to shoot a new series.

Earlier in the morning, information spread on Telegram channels that the actor needed emergency medical care due to heart problems. However, Maklakov himself denied the reports in a video message on the Instagram social network (owned by Meta, which is recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation).

"Not to say too much: I'm going to work, to shoot an amazing series <...>. So everything is fine, everything is fine," the actor said.
