Vilnius Airport reopens after time restrictions
Temporary restrictions on flights at Vilnius Airport have been lifted. This was announced on October 5 by the press service of Aviagavan on the Facebook social network (owned by Meta, whose activities are recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).
"The airspace at Vilnius airport was opened at 04:50 (local time, coincides with Moscow time)," the publication says.
As a result of the temporary shutdown, a number of flights were canceled, and ships in the air were sent to land at other airports.
Earlier in the day, air traffic was temporarily suspended at Vilnius Airport due to the appearance of foreign objects in the air, presumably balloons. It is specified that flights were suspended the night before at 22:16 (local time, coincides with Moscow time).
