More than half of the members of the Labour Party do not want British Prime Minister Keir Starmer to run in the next election as party leader. This was announced on September 28 in a new survey conducted by LabourList.

"53% of the party want to see a new leader by the next election, and only 31% want Starmer to remain in office until that time," Sky News quoted the survey as saying.

The survey, which was attended by 1,254 members of the Labor Party from September 23 to September 25, also showed dissatisfaction with the general direction of government activities.: 65% said that Starmer is moving in the wrong direction, compared to 26% who are satisfied with everything.

On August 27, it was reported that in the UK, the rating of the Labor Party dropped to its lowest level since the beginning of the party's rule last year. As it turned out, no more than 20% of voters would be ready to vote for Starmer's party today. This is the lowest figure since the last elections last year.
