AFD MP Lindemann condemned Ukrainian provocations with UAVs

Ukraine is staging provocations by intercepting Russian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and redirecting them to the territory of NATO countries. Gunnar Lindemann, a member of the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, told Izvestia on September 27.

"Ukraine is obviously trying by any means to gain membership in NATO by intercepting Russian drones, and then trying to direct or shoot them down on NATO territory, as we now suspect in Poland or Denmark," he said.

Lindemann noted that the actions of the Ukrainian government are a provocation and represent a dangerous escalation, which he attributes to an attempt to start World War III by Kiev and its leadership.

The Alternative for Germany party strongly condemned this position and stressed that Ukraine seeks to provoke the situation.

Warsaw's reaction to the Defense Ministry's proposal to hold consultations did not follow, Peskov announced a pause in negotiations with Kiev.

Earlier, on September 26, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said, citing Hungarian articles, that the Kiev regime intends to continue provocations violating the air borders of NATO countries, passing off drones launched from Ukraine as Russian. Thus, Kiev is trying to gain a foothold in international positions, while dragging the European Union into the conflict.
