- Kiev showed the route of the Hungarian UAV that allegedly violated the borders of Ukraine
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) reproduced the route of a Hungarian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) that allegedly violated their country's airspace. This was announced on September 26 by the press service of the department.
"Over the territory of the Transcarpathian region, an unmanned aerial object was twice recorded flying at different heights. This object has twice violated the state border of Ukraine from Hungary," reads a statement posted on the Telegram channel of the Ukrainian General Staff.
Attached to the publication were "visual evidence" illustrating the alleged incident on Friday morning (September 26). It was clarified that the "detected" drone was accompanied by the Ukrainian side by a Chaklun-KM type UAV.
On that day, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky also commented on the violation of the country's airspace by Hungarian UAVs, which, in his opinion, planned to conduct reconnaissance. Later, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto clarified that Zelensky suffers from "Hungerophobia" and is beginning to see things that are not really there.
