Reuters reported on Europe's fatigue from Trump's fickleness towards Russia
European officials are exhausted by US President Donald Trump's volatile attitude towards Russia. This was reported on September 20 by the Reuters news agency, citing sources.
"Several European diplomats in Washington have privately expressed their disappointment with Trump's volatile attitude towards Russia," the article says.
It is noted that they also suggested that another tightening of the American leader's position towards Moscow may not be credible.
Earlier, on September 16, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov announced the Trump administration's commitment to straightening relations with Russia. He expressed his intention to work hard and noted the positive nature of Washington's willingness to continue dialogue with Moscow on all issues.
Prior to that, on September 5, Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation, Executive Secretary for the preparation and holding of the Eastern Economic Forum, announced an agreement between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Trump to bring the positions of Washington and Moscow closer. He also clarified that the parties have improved relations.
