Johnson ruled out the participation of Western countries in the fighting in Ukraine
Western countries will not directly participate in the fighting — "Ukrainians are coping with this better." This was announced on September 15 by former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
"The West has confirmed its commitment, and the way to prove it is to say that the "coalition of the willing" will begin to arrive. Of course, they won't engage in combat.: Ukrainians are much better than Western Europeans at this," he said in an interview with the Ukrainian media.
Johnson added that the Western military contingent will not go on life-threatening missions, but will focus on logistics, training and support functions.
On the same day, Vladimir Jabarov, First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council's International Affairs Committee, commented on the words of Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski about the unwillingness of confrontation, saying that Europe wants to fight Russia with the hands of Ukrainians, and then strike its own blow. Earlier, Sikorsky said that European countries do not seek to enter into a military conflict with Russia.
