US Senator Michael Lee called on the United States to withdraw from the NATO bloc. On September 1, the politician published a corresponding post on the social network X.

"If we don't withdraw from NATO soon, we will regret it — very much," he warned.

The senator's message was a response to a post about a migrant rally in Germany, where participants expressed a desire to establish Sharia law in the European country.

"These guys don't waste time. And we shouldn't do that either," Lee concluded.
