"Last night, a man stepped on an explosive device in the Sudzha district. As a result of the detonation, the 44-year—old victim has an incomplete traumatic amputation of his left foot," Khinstein wrote on his Telegram channel.
He noted that the victim is receiving all necessary medical care. In addition, Khinstein reminded residents of the region that part of the region's territory is still mined and urged them not to visit the region's borderlands.
"Please do not risk yourself and do not return to the borderlands — this is a real threat to your life and health!" he concluded.
On the morning of August 17, two people were injured in an attack by a Ukrainian FPV drone on the Rylsk-Khomutovka highway in the Rylsky district of the Kursk region. Two men aged 37 and 20 were injured. They were hospitalized with mine-explosive, traumatic brain injuries and multiple shrapnel wounds.
