A man died as a result of an attack by an APU drone on a highway in the Kursk region.

In the Kursk region, a drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) attacked the Rylsk–Krupets highway, killing a local resident. This was announced on August 17 by the acting governor of the region, Alexander Khinshtein.

"Today, an APU drone attacked the Rylsk–Krupets highway, along which a civilian car was traveling," he wrote on the Telegram channel.

Khinstein added that a local resident born in 1957 was killed as a result of a strike by Ukrainian militants.

On the morning of August 17, two people were injured in an attack by a Ukrainian FPV drone on the Rylsk-Khomutovka highway in the Rylsky district of the Kursk region. Two men aged 37 and 20 were injured. They were hospitalized with mine-explosive, traumatic brain injuries and multiple shrapnel wounds.
