In Ukraine, two men died as a result of forced mobilization
Two Ukrainian families have blamed the military unit of the city of Samar for the deaths of their mobilized relatives. This was reported on August 11 by the Ukrainian newspaper Strana.ua" in his Telegram channel.
According to journalists, both cases occurred in the training center of the city of Samar, Dnipropetrovsk region, where the men were sent after mobilization. Relatives of the victims said that the military unit hid the fact of death from relatives, and then presented medical reports indicating death from natural causes.
It is specified that numerous bruises and bruises were found on the body of one man, and the back of his head was also smashed. Two stab wounds in the heart and one in the neck were found on the body of the second man. There were no fingerprints on the murder weapon.
The publication notes that similar cases have already happened — in February of this year, a 34-year-old soldier was killed in a military unit in the city of Samar.
On August 7, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Denis Shmygal announced that employees of territorial recruitment centers (TCCs, an analogue of the military enlistment office in Ukraine) from September 1 of this year will be required to wear video cameras on their bodies during the verification of military personnel's documents and the delivery of summonses. It is noted that for non-compliance with the rules of wearing video recorders, disciplinary liability is provided for employees of the shopping center.
Prior to that, on July 30, a resident of the city of Mykolaiv in southeastern Ukraine died while trying to escape from the staff of the shopping mall. It is specified that at the sight of the military enlistment office staff, the man ran towards the pedestrian bridge and jumped down, which led to his death.
