The court upheld the decision to liquidate the Roizman Foundation

On August 5, the Sverdlovsk Regional Court rejected a complaint against the liquidation of the foundation of former Yekaterinburg Mayor Evgeny Roizman (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation).

"The appeal should be dismissed," TASS quoted the judge as saying.

It is specified that the court session was held behind closed doors.

Concrete evidence: The mayor of Krasnoyarsk faces up to 15 years in prison.

Vladislav Loginov was charged with accepting a bribe of more than 180 million rubles.

The claim for the liquidation of the fund was filed with the Oktyabrsky District Court of Yekaterinburg in March. It was noted that the foundation had raised more than 222 million rubles for a spinal muscular atrophy drug for two children, but had misused the funds.

In April, the court granted the claim for the liquidation of the fund. At the same time, the organization stated that they did not agree with the results of the audit and filed a lawsuit with the Arbitration Court of the Sverdlovsk region.
