Almost half of the victims of the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall were killed by fire.

Of the 149 victims of the terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall concert hall, 70 people died as a result of the fire. This follows from the materials of the criminal case, which were reviewed by TASS on August 3.

It is noted that 70 people did not receive gunshot or other wounds, and the cause of their death was a burn of the upper respiratory tract in combination with carbon monoxide intoxication.

The materials also indicate that more than 1,9 thousand people were put in mortal danger as a result of the terrorist attack, of which 1,7 thousand subsequently did not seek medical help.
