In the Rostov region, traffic was restored through the Salsk station, which was closed after the wreckage of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) fell The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on Tuesday, July 29, by the press service of Russian Railways.

"The movement of passenger trains through the Salsk station in the Rostov region, disrupted due to the consequences of falling UAV debris, has been restored according to a temporary scheme bypassing the damaged area," the carrier's Telegram channel wrote.

It is specified that work is currently underway to restore the contact network. In addition, Russian Railways uses all possibilities to minimize train delays.

Traffic through the Salsk station in the Rostov region was closed due to a UAV crash earlier in the day. It was clarified that when the debris fell, the contact network was damaged, and the composition of the stationary freight train caught fire. A fire train was sent to eliminate the fire. In addition, as a result of the incident, the glazing in two carriages of the Novokuznetsk – Kislovodsk passenger train was damaged.
