During night attacks by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) killed two employees of the Federal Passenger Company (FPC) in Sochi and injured three others. This was announced on Thursday, July 24, in the company's Telegram channel.

"As a result of night attacks by UAVs on the city of Sochi, five employees of the FPC train crew were injured, who were traveling by car after the flight to the rest area. Unfortunately, two of our colleagues were fatally injured," the statement said.

It is specified that the victims are in the hospital under the supervision of doctors. In addition, the FPC expressed condolences to the families and friends of the victims.

"Russian Railways will provide all necessary assistance to the victims and the families of the victims," the company added.

On the same day, it was reported that as a result of the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack, a fire broke out on the territory of a garage and construction cooperative in Sochi. In addition, there was a fire at an oil depot on Tavrichesky Street. Later it became known that two people were killed and 11 injured after Ukrainian drone strikes on the city. The city administration reported that the infrastructure and Sochi airport are operating normally after the drone attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
