Recall of Ural Next trucks announced in Russia
In Russia, 2,626 Ural Next trucks are being recalled, which were sold between 2022 and 2024. This was reported by the press service of Rosstandart.
The reason for the recall was the planned installation of an emergency call device with its further activation.
Representatives of the automobile plant will inform the owners of the cars under review about the need to provide the cars to the nearest dealership. Emergency call devices will be installed on all trucks and activated. All work for the owners will be free of charge.
On July 18, Sollers launched a recall campaign involving 14.3 thousand all-metal Sollers Atlant vans. The reason for the recall was a possible short circuit of the rear license plate light bulb, followed by melting of the wiring.
Prior to that, on June 16, Anton Shalaev, head of Rosstandart, reported that almost 1.7 million cars had been recalled in Russia over the past five years as part of recall campaigns.
