The infrastructure and Sochi airport are operating normally after the drone attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on July 24 by the press service of the city administration.

"The resort's infrastructure is functioning normally. In the Adler district, on the territory of the garage cooperative on Avianskaya St., where a fire broke out due to falling UAV debris, debris removal will be organized today," the administration's Telegram channel says.

Currently, the situation is under control of the head of the administration of the federal territory "Sirius" Dmitry Plishkin. In addition, there is no threat from the air, the airport continues to receive and send flights. It is specified that some of them were detained.

On the same day, it was reported that as a result of the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack, a fire broke out on the territory of a garage and construction cooperative. In addition, Plishkin informed about a fire at an oil depot on Tavrichesky Street. Later it became known that two people died after Ukrainian drone strikes on the city, 11 people were also injured.
