The third round of negotiations between Russia and Ukraine ended in Istanbul.

The delegations of Russia and Ukraine have completed the third round of negotiations in Istanbul. The meeting was held at the Chiragan Palace.

The discussion of the representatives of the countries was held in a closed format without representatives of the media. The negotiations lasted about an hour.

The Russian delegation was headed by Vladimir Medinsky, Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation, and also included Alexander Fomin, Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Igor Kostyukov, Chief of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, and Mikhail Galuzin, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation.

The Ukrainian delegation consisted of 14 people, it was headed by the former Minister of Defense, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of the country Rustem Umerov.

Earlier in the day, the Russian delegation arrived in Istanbul.
