In Russia, the spouses of participants in a special military operation (SVO) want to reduce their working hours while maintaining their salaries. Such a measure will be effective if there are minor children in the family, Izvestia learned.

A government commission led by Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev proposed that large businesses and governors work on this issue. The initiative is supported by most factions of the State Duma and the Support of Russia.

In addition, the document says that enterprises should introduce payments for injuries, partial or complete loss of working capacity, as well as the death of participants in a special operation. Businesses are also invited to implement special employment programs for veterans with disabilities.
