Stepashin noted the desire of citizens who left Russia to return back
Many people who left Russia after the start of the special military operation want to return. This was announced on July 15 by former Russian Prime Minister Sergei Stepashin.
"Well, he ran away and ran away. Please, it's their problem. Now many people want to return, but they don't know how," Stepashin told RIA Novosti.
According to him, people who escaped from Russia are not needed in the Baltic States. He added that if those who want to return back apologize, they will be accepted back to their homeland.
The former prime Minister of Russia also noted that people who do not "throw mud" at the country can safely return and not worry that they will be touched by law enforcement agencies.
Earlier, on June 18, the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Maria Zakharova, wished the artists who left Russia to find their lost Homeland. She suggested that, having acquired their Homeland, many of the artists who left might be able to acquire themselves.
