In Kamchatka, a 17-year-old teenager inadvertently fired an air rifle and hit a 12-year-old boy in the shoulder. This was reported on July 15 in the press service of the Investigative Department (SU) of the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR) for the region.
"According to preliminary data, on July 12 of this year, a 17-year-old boy, while in a garage near a house in the village of Novy in the Yelizovsky district of the Kamchatka Territory, fired a shot as a result of careless handling of an air rifle and hit the shoulder of the right hand of a 12—year-old boy nearby," the press service said in a Telegram message -the channel.
It is specified that the child was hospitalized and taken to the surgical department, where he was immediately provided with qualified medical care. At the moment, the boy's life and health are not in danger. Investigators are conducting checks on the incident.
On July 8, the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Primorsky Territory reported that in the city of Nakhodka, a 4-year-old teenager shot a 13-year-old peer in the eye with an air pistol. It is specified that the investigators initiated a criminal case under paragraph "h" of Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code ("Intentional infliction of serious harm to health with the use of weapons").
