Zelensky proposed Sviridenko to head the government
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has proposed First Deputy Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko to head the Ukrainian government. He wrote about this on July 4 in his Telegram channel.
"I have proposed Yulia Sviridenko to head the government of Ukraine and significantly update its work. I expect the presentation of the new government's action program in the near future," Zelensky said.
During the meeting, the politicians discussed specific measures that could "strengthen Ukraine's economic potential," the Ukrainian president added.
Earlier, on June 20, the Financial Times newspaper linked personnel changes in the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) with Kiev's plan to accelerate mobilization. According to the authors of the article, the shortage of manpower in the Ukrainian army has become even more acute in recent months due to the advance of the Russian army on the front line.
