The weather forecaster warned about rains and stuffiness in Moscow
Unstable weather with short-term precipitation is expected for residents of Moscow and the Moscow region almost throughout the week. Tatiana Pozdnyakova, a leading specialist at the Meteonosti news agency, told Izvestia about this on July 14.
According to the leading expert, "almost every day, maybe with the exception of Thursday, we will have weather with short-term rains." Heavy precipitation and thunderstorms are forecast in some places, especially on Tuesday, when "thunderstorm activity will still develop."
At the same time, starting from Wednesday, atmospheric phenomena will gradually weaken, and the process will subside. The only day without precipitation, according to preliminary calculations, will be Thursday.
According to forecasts, the temperature background in the region will not change significantly and will remain at the same level during the working week and weekends.
"It practically also changes very little, that is, the prevailing temperatures at night in Moscow are +17 to +19, in the region about +16...21 degrees," Pozdnyakova clarified.
The forecaster noted that Monday is likely to be the hottest and most muggy day. According to her, the air temperature in Moscow will rise to +27 degrees, and in the Moscow region — up to + 28 degrees. In the following days, the heat will gradually weaken: the temperature background will stabilize at +24...26 degrees.
Wind conditions are also expected to change. As the expert explained, the easterly wind will change to north and northwesterly by about the middle of the week. At the same time, it will not be strong, but it will create a feeling of light coolness.
In general, according to Pozdnyakova, the weather conditions correspond to the season: the air temperature remains slightly above the climatic norm, but gradually returns to the usual values for the end of July.
The Hydrometeorological Center predicted rain and thunderstorms in places in Moscow on July 14. Cloudy with some clarifications, short—term rain, heavy in some places, thunderstorms in some areas and up to +30 degrees - this weather awaits residents of the metropolitan region. The air temperature in Moscow will range from +28 to +30 degrees during the day. At night, the thermometer will drop to +17.
