Roscosmos State Corporation has shown satellite images of a cyclone over Moscow. The footage was posted on the Telegram channel on July 12.
As specified, the cyclone, which came amid the heat, led to rain and hail. The images were taken by the Electro-L and Arktika-M devices, the state corporation added.
On the same day, Roman Vilfand, the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center, reported that a 122-year—old temperature record was recorded in Moscow - the air in the capital warmed up to +34.6 degrees.
