Russia can help Iran in rebuilding the infrastructure damaged as a result of the conflict with Israel. This was announced on July 11 by Iranian Ambassador to Russia Kazem Jalali.

The diplomat noted that, according to the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement, countries have a certain responsibility in matters of regional stability and security, as well as in jointly countering unilateralism.

"Naturally, if necessary, Russia can play its role both in restoring damaged civilian infrastructure and as an intermediary in order to reduce tensions," the diplomat said in an interview with TASS.

A day earlier, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov announced Russia's involvement in the search for solutions to the Iranian nuclear program. He noted that cooperation on this initiative is underway with the Islamic Republic, the United States and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
