Ukraine will create a new structure to work with unfriendly countries
The Office of unfriendly countries will appear in the new structure of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. This was announced on July 8 by the head of the department Andrei Sibiga.
"We will now have new separate offices. For example, the management of unfriendly countries. This will include not only Russia, but also its allies such as North Korea or Belarus," he wrote on Facebook (banned in Russia, owned by the recognized extremist Meta company).
The First Deputy Minister will be responsible for overseeing the new administration. In addition, Sibiga announced the creation of a separate department to work with Central Asian countries and manage sanctions policy.
The Ministry will also have a department for international security and defense, as well as several regional departments — European, Latin American, Asia-Pacific, Caribbean and African units. The destinations of the USA, Canada, the Middle East and North Africa are highlighted separately.
Sibiga also added that a separate NATO directorate is being created within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which, according to him, indicates "the priority of Ukraine's accession to the alliance." He clarified that previously, integration into the European Union (EU) and NATO was combined into one department, but now a separate department will be created to separate these issues.
He signed the order on the creation of the new structure on July 7, adds "Газета.Ru ".
The Economist magazine said on July 6 that chaos would begin in Ukraine due to an internal political split. The publication drew attention to the fact that the deplorable situation of Kiev on the front line is currently only one of the reasons for the possible collapse of Ukraine. According to the authors, the background of internal political division, purges and "internal strife" that can shake the country from the inside is no less alarming.
