The cheapest crossovers in Russia for the year have been named
The average price of new cars popular with Russians in the second quarter of this year decreased by 2.9% compared to the same period last year and amounted to 2.83 million rubles. Avito Auto experts told Izvestia about this on July 7. They analyzed the average prices of new cars, which were among the most popular among users of the platform from April to June.
Compared to the same period last year, GAC (-6.2%), Chery (-4.7%) and Jaecoo (-3.2%) cars fell in price most noticeably. The price of three models decreased by more than 10% over the year: the SWM G05 Pro lost 29.5% in price, the Chery Tiggo 4 Pro - 13.2%, and the Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Max - 10.4%. Both Jetour Dashing (-4.7%) and Chery Tiggo 4 (-4.4%) have noticeably fallen in price.
Compared to the first quarter of this year, new cars have become 2.8% cheaper. The average prices of Lada (-7.2%), GAC (-6.8%), Chery (-5.7%), Solaris (-5.2%) and Jaecoo (-4.3%) models decreased. Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max lost 5% in price, Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Max — 3.9%, and Solaris KRS — 2.7%.
Earlier in the day, it was reported that the Russian new car market is expected to gradually recover in the second half of 2025. A return to the growth rates observed in 2024 is unlikely, but there will be a revival in demand compared to the first half of the year.
