American billionaire businessman Elon Musk expressed regret over the posts about US President Donald Trump that he posted on social networks. The entrepreneur announced this on the social network X.

"I regret some of my posts about Trump. This has gone too far," Musk wrote.

As noted by "Gazeta.Ru", on June 9, Musk said that he had ruined his reputation himself. Such a comment appeared against the background of an exchange of sharp remarks with Trump, when the businessman criticized the economic policy of the White House. In response, the American leader accused the businessman of irresponsibility and said he was disappointed in Musk because of his criticism of the bill.

Earlier, on June 3, Musk criticized the draft budget proposed by the White House, calling it an abomination. Later, on June 5, Musk publicly supported the idea of impeaching Trump. The president, in turn, wrote that terminating contracts with Musk is the best way to save money in the US budget. At the same time, Tesla shares fell sharply.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov called the quarrel between Trump and Musk an internal event of another country on June 6. He also noted that the US president would resolve the differences with the businessman himself.
