In Makhachkala, on an area of 300 sq. m. m the Dagpotrebsoyuz building caught fire

The fire occurred on an area of 300 sq. m. m in the four-storey Dagpotrebsoyuz building on Yaragsky Street in Makhachkala. This was reported on May 2 in the press service of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.

"Upon arrival of the first fire crews at the scene, it was found that the roof of the building was on fire," the department's Telegram channel clarified.

According to the republican Ministry of Emergency Situations, the flames covered an area of 300 square meters, the fire is localized. There are no casualties.

Earlier that day, a fire broke out at a cottage in the village of Kuzmino, Pskov region, killing two people. the cause of the fire could be a malfunction of an electrical appliance. Medical and fire-technical examinations are currently underway to establish the details of the incident.
