On April 28, Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Asif warned the Indian side against invading the country's airspace.

"We will protect him, and they will remember how we protect him," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

At the same time, as the Newspaper clarifies.Ru", the head of the Pakistani Ministry of Defense considers India's military invasion of his country inevitable, because Pakistan has strengthened its forces.

In such a situation, it is necessary to make strategic decisions, Asif stressed.

The day before, it was reported that the Indian Navy conducted test launches of anti-ship missiles. The tests took place against the background of the aggravation of the situation between India and Pakistan after the terrorist attack on April 22 near the Indian city of Pahalgam in the disputed territory of Jammu and Kashmir, which killed 27 civilians.

In connection with the terrorist attack, on April 25, the Indian Foreign Ministry suspended the 1960 Indus River Treaty and stopped supplying water from its stream to Pakistan. At the same time, the Indian authorities announced the suspension of the issuance of visas for Pakistani citizens.
